Maures Fitness will cater to you, train, coach, and help find ways to create a healthier and more balanced way of life." 

Maures Fitness’s philosophy is simple and straight forward.  Creating, starting or even continuing a healthy lifestyle shouldn’t be hard—it should be a sustainable way of life that you can incorporate into your everyday.  Just like you get up each day, have breakfast, go to work, come home, sleep, working out and eating healthy should be just another thing you do daily.  At Maures Fitness, we find the best ways to help you implement a healthy lifestyle dependent on your everyday.  Each person is unique in regard to how busy they are with family, work, stress or whatever else life throws at you, but finding ways to work around that is key.  As stated previously, we believe that living a healthy lifestyle is not and shouldn’t be a hard thing to do, and we will help show you exactly that!

“I’ve known Ian for several years from a different gym and always admired his skill set, drive for helping his clients, and overall caring personality. When I saw he was doing in-home training I jumped at the opportunity to work with him and literally started a few days later. 

I highly recommend him to anyone at any fitness level. He meets you where you are and works to meet the goals that you have for yourself. Ian challenges me to push myself, which I need. He’s always watching and correcting my form to ensure there are no injuries or the common sore back. I feel energized and very sweaty every time we work out but extremely grateful I have the opportunity to work with Ian in my home. Ian is also very Covid conscious and we mainly work out with the limited equipment I have or some key items he brings. However, he always wipes down all the equipment and maintains social distancing. 

I also am getting back from an injury into running and Ian has been very helpful in identifying my weaknesses and helping me “activate my glutes” to help with my running. He’s a perfect compliment for anyone wanting cross training and incorporating a strength component. 

Ian is not only extremely knowledgeable in fitness and strength training but also nutrition. He definitely practices what he preaches (but also doesn’t shame you for having a cheat meal). He understands physical limitations either from being overweight or with medical conditions (both of which I am and have and introduce many challenges that he adapts to fit me). Ian always listens and is 100% available for any questions day and night. He brings a caring and calming personality into training and I can tell he truly is committed to ensuring my successes. 

If you are looking to get back into shape, continue your personal strength training goals, looking to cross train for your running or other sports.....give Ian a try. I promise you will not be disappointed and will be addicted to it as I am. 

P.s. - I originally signed up for 2 days but because I enjoy our time so much I ask him to squeeze in 3 when he can. 😊”
